It was a redonk busy weekend–all day saturday spent trying to find the owners of a beautiful stray dog (which we did end up finding, yay!), all day Sunday spent visiting friends in DC and seeing Iron Man 3 (yeah again).

So yeah, instead of a comic, I’m taking a page out of my sketchbook as an idea I had for a print (or a t-shirt I guess. I do t-shirts now. T-shirts are cool.)

I ordered some socks from Sock Dreams when they had their lost sock sale. I got my package within two days and then spent the rest of the weekend stomping around the house making silly, happy faces

Yeah. it’s been a rough couple weeks, but it does feel good to get to the point where I can say that to my chronic illness. It’s by no means a solution to the problem, it’s just a state of being that I’m glad to be getting into.

My solutions usually end up being lots of junk food and video games and hiding, really. It’s not the most joyous (or even the most efficacious), but I’m also glad I’m secure in the knowledge that the derps don’t last forever, and that I largely get by just by riding it out.

you know, because there aren’t enough strong male protagonists on the market, really…
